Organization Committee

We are a mixed group of bachelor, master and PhD students at Lund university who have come together to host this years INASCON. With our broad backgrounds and diversity, we aim to organise an excellent conference this year (2026) here in Lund, Sweden.

The INASCON 2026 organization committee

Edvin Lycknets

Chairman of the board

PhD student in materials chemistry. Focusing on understanding the atomic-level growth dynamics of nickel arsenide and nickel antimonide nanomaterials using environmental transmission electron microscopy (ETEM).

Linus Wernersson

Treasurer of the board and head of logistics

Master’s student in biotechnology engineering.

Alyamama Mahamid

Secretary of the board and head of the marketing committee

Bachelor’s student in nanotechnology.

Akshat Mishra

Head of the program committee

PhD student in theoretical physics. Properties of materials are usually a consequence of the underlying dynamics of electrons. Akshat looks at the correlation that these electrons develop when they talk to each other (interaction) while being at different points in space and time.

Amro Karkanawi

Head of the sponsors committee

Bachelor’s student in chemical engineering.

Hedda C. Soland

Marketing, IT and logistics

PhD student in materials chemistry. Passionate about nanomaterials and understanding how crystal structure relates to physical properties such as magnetism. In her PhD, she uses transmission electron microscopy to study and manipulate nanomaterials at the atomic scale.

Laura de la Fuente Esteban

Sponsors and marketing

Master’s student in nanoscience.

Rafaela Pasidi

Program committee and marketing

Master’s student in nanoscience.

Alexandros Karas

Logistics and program committee

Master’s student in Computational Physics.

Cecilia Fang

Program committee

Master’s student in nanoscience.

Azemina Kraina

Marketing

PhD student in materials chemistry.

John Philip Khulabe

Master’s student in nanoscience.

Anna Christoforidou

Program committee

Master’s student in nanoscience.

Ebba Högberg

Sponsors

Bachelor’s student in nanotechnology.
