Q&A: How to get around in Lund
How to get to Lund?
If you are flying to either Copenhagen or Gothenburg, we recommend the train to Lund C (Öresundståg). Tickets can be bought at the airport or with the app Skånetrafiken. Tip: if you travel in a group and buy two or more tickets, you get a 25% discount!
How to get around in Lund?
During the conference you will all get tickets that can be used for public transport. The conference will be hosted in a building called The Loop here in Lund (Rydbergs torg 4, Lund, Sweden). The Loop is located between the research facilities MAX IV and ESS where we will have excursions one of the days. To get to The Loop from Lund C, simply take the one and only tram in Lund all the way to the end station called ESS (ca. 15 min).
Accommodation
The Winstrup hostel is located very close to Lund C, definitely within walking distance even with heavy bags (the distance is ~400m).
In general, Lund is a very walkable city. We therefore recommend using your legs as often as you can!
Q&A: Oral and poster presentations
Oral presentations:
If you have been accepted for an oral presentation, your allocated timeslot will be 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for questions. Please prepare your presentation accordingly. Schedule for the presentations will be sent out on email to all participants.
Poster presentations:
If you are presenting a poster, do not forget to bring it to the conference. The poster should be A0-size and in portrait orientation. It is possible to print your poster at the university printing agency MediaTryck (https://www.mediatryck.lu.se/en/) at your own expense. The posters will be set up during the first coffee break (15:45-16:30, Monday 10th of August) and there will be time to present the posters during all consecutive coffee breaks. If you are giving a poster-pitch, a 1 minute talk about your poster, please send in an image with your poster (pdf, ppt or png, etc.) to info@inascon2026.org
